Directions:Dry grapes well and place in bowl large enough to toss them easily. Line baking sheet with parchment paper. Add white chocolate to grapes, about 1 T. at a time, stirring well with spatula, carefully scraping sides of bowl and folding through center of grapes to coat all evenly.
When chocolate begins to set, use small strainer to sprinkle powdered sugar, little by little, over surface. Gently toss or stir grapes while sifting, until they are well coated and separated. Spread onto prepared baking sheet. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until chocolate is set, or up to one day.
To Make Bowls: Melt chocolate in microwave safe bowl at 1 minute intervals at half power. Chocolate will often hold its shape as it melts, so remove and stir at each interval until chocolate is smooth. Inflate a balloon and knot the end to keep the air in. Dip the balloon into the melted chocolate. Allow chocolate to harden on the balloon as a bowl. Once it is harden, pop the balloon and carefully peel away from the inside of the bowl. Repeat process to make additional bowls. Fill bowls with chocolate covered grapes and serve with cocktail pics. The edges of the chocolate bowls can also be decorated with white chocolate butterflies or leaves. |
