2 c. chopped fresh mushrooms
1 c. chopped cooked shrimp
1/4 c. chopped green onion
1/4 c. snipped parsley
1 clove garlic, minced
6 tbsp butter, melted
24 fresh oysters, shucked & drained
3/4 c. reserved oyster liquid
1/2 c. dry white wine
1/2 tsp salt
Dash cayenne
1 c. light cream
1/4 c. all-purpose flour
Rock Salt
1/3 c. dry bread crumbs
1/8 tsp paprika

Directions:
Preheat oven to 450° F. In skillet cook mushrooms, shrimp, onions, parsley & garlic in 4 tbsp of the butter for 1 min. Add oyster liquid, wine, salt & cayenne. Bring to boil; simmer 1 min. Blend cream into flour; stir into wine mixture. Cook & stir till thickened & bubbly.

Arrange 24 oyster shells in a bed of rock salt in shallow baking pan. Place 1 oyster in each shell; spoon about 2 tbsp sauce over each. Combine bread crumbs, paprika & remaining butter; sprinkle atop. Bake 10-12 min.

Add water to make 3/4 c. of oyster liquid if reserve is not enough. Makes 4 main dish or 8 appetizer servings.
