4 bananas, not too ripe (saba preferred)
Brown sugar to partially coat banana
8 pieces lumpia/pastry wrapper
Vegetable oil for deep frying

Directions:

Cut peeled bananas in half lengthwise. Lightly roll in brown sugar, shake off excess. Wrap the banana nice and tight. Place coated banana about 2 inches from edge of wrapper nearest you, place that end over the banana and roll tightly about more than halfway. Fold the 2 ends of the wrapper in and continue to wrap.

Deep fry in oil until golden brown on both sides. Drain oil on paper towels. Serve immediately.
