3 tablespoon cornstarch
1/4 tsp salt
1 2/3 cup water
1 14-ounce Eagle Brand Condensed Milk
3 egg yolks, beaten
2 tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 to 5 apple bananas
1 pie crust, cooked
Whipped cream

Directions:
Directions:
In a heavy sauce pan, dissolve cornstarch and salt in the water. Stir in condensed milk and egg yokes and cook until thickened and bubbly. Remove from heat and add butter and vanilla. Cool slightly.

Slice bananas and arrange on the bottom of the pie crust. Pour filling over bananas. Chill for 4 hours. Cover with whipped cream.

Growing up, my favorite pie was my grandmother's Banana Cream pie. Now that I live in Hawai‘i and discovered apple bananas, what I thought was the perfect pie, got even better!
