6 T. margarine
4 T. chopped onion
5 T. flour
3/4 tsp. salt
Dash of nutmeg
Dash of pepper
1 can chicken broth
2 c. milk
10 oz. frozen broccoli (can use fresh, cooked)

Directions:
Directions:
Cook onions in butter in microwave for 2 minutes. Add dry ingredients with 1 c. milk and shake well. Add this mix and remainder of milk and broth to onions and butter. Cook 4 minutes, stirring every minute. Thaw (defrost) broccoli and chop in small pieces. Mix broccoli with soup mixture. Cook 5 minutes stirring 2 to 3 times OR mix all and stir every 2 1/2 minutes times 4. Makes 4 soup bowls.
OPTIONAL: May sprinkle cheese on top when served.
