1 CUP SUGAR
1/2 CUP FLOUR
1/4 TSP SALT
2 CUPS MILK
4 EGG YOLKS, SLIGHTLY BEATEN (USE WHITES FOR MERINGUE).
2 TBSP OLEO
3 OZ PKG CREAM CHEESE
1 TSP VANILLA
2-1 OZ SQUARES UNSWEETENED CHOCOLATE
1 BAKED PIE CRUST

IN A SAUCE PAN, COMBINE SUGAR, FLOUR AND SALT. GRADUALLY STIR IN MILK AND CHOCOLATE SQUARES. COOK AND STIR OVER MEDIUM HEAT TILL BUBBLY. COOK AND STIR 2 MINUTES. REMOVE FROM HEAT. STIR SMALL AMOUNT OF HOT MIXTURE INTO YOLKS, (TEMPERING), RETURN TO HOT MIXTURE AND COOK FOR 2 MORE MINUTES STIRRING CONSTANTLY. REMOVE FROM HEAT, ADD OLEO AND VANILLA. STIR IN CREAM CHEESE AND MIX WELL. POUR INTO A COOLED, BAKED PIE CRUST. TOP WITH MERINGUE AND RETURN TO THE OVEN UNTIL MERINGUE IS BROWN.
