1 1/2 CUPS SHORTENING
2 1/2 CUPS SUGAR
5 EGGS
3 CUPS FLOUR
1/2 TSP SALT
1 TSP BAKING POWDER
1 CAN FLAKED COCONUT
1 CUP MILK
1 TSP COCONUT FLAVORING

GLAZE:
1 CUP POWDERED SUGAR
1 TSP VANILLA
1 TSP COCONUT FLAVORING
2 TBSP MILK

Directions:
Directions:
CREAM SHORTENING AND SUGAR UNTIL FLUFFY. ADD EGGS. SIFT FLOUR, SALT AND BAKING POWDER TOGETHER. BLEND ALTERNATELY WITH MILK AND FLAVORING. BEAT WELL. STIR IN COCONUT. BAKE IN A WELL GREASED BUNDT PAN AT 325º FOR 1 HR. LET COOL AND TURN OUT OF PAN
MIX GLAZE AND POUR OVER CAKE.
