1 cup hot milk
4 tbsp. melted butter
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg

2 3/4 - 3 1/4 cups flour
1 tbsp. quick acting dry yeast
Handful of potato flakes

Mix first five ingredients together, add 1 cup flour, yeast and potato flakes, mix well, continue to add flour until dough reaches soft stage - don't add too much flour.

Let rest 10 minutes, roll out on floured counter in long strip about 7 inches wide. Spread melted butter over and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Roll lengthwise, cut into rolls. Place on greased baking sheet, let rise about 30 minutes and then bake at 350º for about 15-20 minutes until nicely browned.

Cool a bit and then glaze if desired.

Let baked rolls cool a bit before glazing -
Glaze:
a cup or two powdered sugar
about two tbs. melted butter
1 tsp vanilla
a little milk - don't make glaze too runny
