1 c. brown sugar
1 c. shortening
1 egg yolk
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped pecans
Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar; add egg yolk. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Spread on cookie sheet and sprinkle with chopped pecans and press into dough. Rub with slightly beaten egg white. Bake for 20 minutes for 350 degrees.
