2 cups pretzels (coarsely crushed)
3/4 cup butter (melted)
3 Tbsp sugar
1 (8oz) pkg cream cheese (softened
1 cup sugar
2 cups cool whip (small container)
1 lg pkg strawberry jello
2 cups water (boiling)
1 (10oz) box frozen strawberries

First layer:
Mix pretzels, butter and 3 Tbsp sugar into 9 x 13 pan. Bake for 8 minutes at 400º. Remove and cool completely.

Second layer:
Beat 1 cup of sugar into cream cheese. Stir in cool whip. Spread over cooled pretzels.

Third layer:
Mix jello and boiling water until dissolved. Cool a bit, then add strawberries. Refrigerate til slightly thickened. Pour over cream cheese mixture. Chill till completely set.

This is more of a dessert, however, since it has the word salad in it - I think it can be served whenever and will be fully enjoyed!
