1/3 c. mild or hot salsa
1 tbsp. butter
1/3 c. sliced green onion
2 c.chopped cooked chicken
1 c. cooked whole kernel corn
1/2 c. water
1 pkg. taco seasoning
4 c. torn salad greens
1 c. chopped tomato
2/3 c. chopped green pepper
3/4 c. shredded cheddar cheese
3/4 c. broken corn chips

Directions:
Directions:
In small sauce pan over med heat, melt butter, saute green onion in hot butter until tender. Stir in chicken, corn, water and taco seasoning. Reduce heat to low, simmer 20 minutes. In medium bowl toss greens, tomatoes & green pepper. To serve, place tossed greens on 4 serving plates. Top each with hot chicken mixture. Sprinkle each with cheese and corn chips. Serve immediately.

This recipe was given to me from my cousin Sharon. She put together a cookbook with recipes from family for a bridal shower gift for me.
