1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup oleo
1 1/2 cups 10x sugar (sifted)
1 egg
2 1/2 cups flour (sifted)
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cream of tartar
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and oleo, add sugar unbeaten egg and vanilla. Sift together dry ingredients and blend into cream mixture. Chill.

Roll on floured board or baking sheet. Use your favorite cookie cutters.

For chocolate cookies - melt chocolate, cool and add to cream mixture. Roll into logs and chill. Creme de menthe frosting is delicious on these.

Bake at 400º for 6 minutes.
