Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 lbs raisins (either white or dark)
1 cup sugar
water to cover raisins
Whiskey

Directions:
Directions:
Cover raisins with water and cook until swollen. Drain. Measure the juice. Add whiskey in same amount as juice that was drained. If that isn't enough liquid, just add a little sugar water and same amount of whiskey. Put in fruit jar and let ripen. After about four weeks it should be good. This recipe gets better with age. This mixture also is good in fruit cakes.
