1 – 12 oz box nilla wafers, crushed
¾ cup butter or margarine
2 cups powdered sugar
1 cup butter or margarine softened
2 eggs
5 bananas sliced (I only use 3)
1 – 20 oz can crushed pineapple, drained
1 – 13 oz container cool whip (I used 8 oz)
1 cup chopped nuts (I used about ½ cup)
maraschino cherries

Directions:
Directions:
Combine crushed nilla wafers and ¾ cup melted butter, mix well and press into the bottom of a 13 x 9 pan.

Combine powdered sugar, 1 cup butter, and eggs. Beat on high speed with electric mixer for at least 15 minutes. (Do not under beat!)

Spread sugar mixture on top of crust, top with bananas & crushed pineapple.

Spread cool whip over fruit, sprinkle with nuts and garnish with cherries.

Chill thoroughly, cut into squares, serves about 20-24.
