1 cube of butter
2 c. sugar
4 heaping T. Dark Hershey Cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
dash salt
1/2 c. Peanut Butter
2 1/2 c. Oatmeal

Directions:
Directions:
Bring all ingredients except Oatmeal to a boil in 2 quart pan. Boil for 7 minutes stirring occassionally.

Remove from heat and add 2 1/2 c. of Oatmeal. Stir. Drop by heaping T. on to wax paper.

Allow 20 minutes to set up. Enjoy!

These are Doug's FAVORITE cookies!!!! I sent thousands on his 9 deployments.....they were a huge hit with his soldiers as well!!!! This was a receipe of my Mom's.
