2 egg whites, unbeaten
1 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
Dash of salt
1/3 cup water
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix whites, sugar, salt, and water in top of double boiler. Beat over boiling water with sturdy beater or at high speed of electric beater 7 minutes, or until peaks form. Remove from water, add vanilla, beat 1 minute. Frosts two layers.
