8 washedTart Granney Smith Apples
popsicle sticks
3/4 c heavy cream
3/4 c light corn syrup
1 stick unsalted butter
1 c sugar

1/4 c heavy cream
1 tsp vanilla

48 ounces dark chocolate
1 c chopped almonds

Directions:
Directions:
Heat 3/4 c heavy crem with light corn syrup, butter, and sugar until 280º with a candy thermometer. Remove from heat. Stir in 1/4 c heavy cream and vanilla. Dip each apple into the caramel, coating evenly. Place on wax paper and let cool.
Melt 48 ounces of dark chocolate and spread 1 cup chopped almonds on a plate. Dip the caramel apple in the chocolate then roll in the nuts. Let cool. Yummm
