Personal Notes:
Vivian says: "My mother, Goldie Allison, was friends with the Thorntons, long before 'Meb' Thornton became Roger (my brother's) high school superintendent."

Editor's Note: Did you know? Goldie Allison and Eva Oliver Allison were not just sisters-in-law, but also good friends? Each day, they would work the crossword puzzle on the phone together. Goldie also loved to crochet. She made many house booties for me, as I was growing up. Although confined to a chair much of her life, due to a spinal illness, Aunt Goldie made the most of it, making hand made gifts for many family and friends.
