2 1/2 cups water
1 1/2 cups sugar
Mapleine flavoring enough to make it the color of maple syrup

Directions:

Place all ingredients in sauce pan and bring to a boil. Serve over pancakes or waffles.

Mom always made this and I really didn't like when I was a kid. I made it for my family once when we were out of syrup
and they all just loved it. So now it is a treat when we are all together.
