Butter
Plain Yogurt
Salt to taste

For each 1 cup of rice, cook in 2 cups of water. Measurements below are assuming 2 servings of rice - 1 cup rice, 2 cups water


Wash the rice 3 times.

Bring water and rice to a simmer covered. Wrap the lid in a dish towel so the moisture is absorbed in the towel.

Simmer for 20 minutes or until the water is mostly gone.

Add a good amount of oil (1/4 cup), a TBSP of butter, and a 1/4 plain yogurt.

Add salt to taste. Do not mix, and return to the stove.

Let simmer for another 10-20 minutes or until the bottom of the rice is crispy but not burnt.
