2 x 398 mL cans yellow beans, drained
2 x 398 mL cans green beans, drained
2 x 398 mL cans kidney beans, drained
1 x 540 mL can chick peas, drained
1 large onion, cliced
1 red pepper, in thin strips

Dressing:
1 1/2 cups white sugar
1 1/8 cups red wine vinegar
3 TB oil
1 1/2 tsp salt
3/4 tsp pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Combine first 6 ingredients in a serving bowl.

Dressing: Mix the 5 remaining ingredients togehter in a seperate bowl. Mix well. Pour over bean mixture and stir gently to coat the salad. Cover and refridgerate overnight. Gently stir occasionally in the evening and the next morning.
