1 lb. extra-lean ground beef or ground sirloin
1 cup diced onion
2 green bell peppers, chopped
1 15oz. can tomato sauce
1 29oz. can diced tomatoes
1 small can tomato paste
1 can beef broth
2 tsps. salt
1 tsp. black pepper
1 T worchestershire sauce
Oregano, Basil, Garlic powder to taste
1 cup cooked white rice.

In dutch oven brown beef over medium high heat, drain off fat. Add the peppers and onions to the browned meat and saute for 3 minutes. Stir in the tomato sauce, diced tomatoes with juice, tomato paste, beef broth, salt, pepper and worchestershire sauce and seasonings. Simmer for 1 hour. Stir in rice and heat through.

If you would like a sweeter taste, add a little brown sugar to the soup. Delicious!!
