1 lb. ground sausage ( or 1/2 lb. sausage and 1/2 lb. ground beef)
1 frozen roll of dough
1 (8 or 10 oz.) package of grated mozzarella or provolone cheese.
Garlic & salt, to taste.
Butter

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350º

Cook sausage/ground beef and set aside to cool.
Roll out thawed dough in rectangle to twice its size. Rub with butter. Place cooled sausage on dough and sprinkle with cheese. Roll dough around sausage/cheese mixture. Place on a cookie sheet or pie pan. Bake at 350º for 10-20 minutes. Watch carefully. Remove from oven just as turning brown. While still warm, rub outside of roll with butter and sprinkle with salt/garlic.
