Directions:
To starter add 1 pt. warm water, 1/3 c.sugar and flour to make medium batter. Let stand 3 hours. Always save 1 c. starter for next bread making before adding: oil, another 1/3 c. sugar, eggs and salt. Make into stiff dough. Let rise until double in size. Work down and place in refrigerator over night. Next morning make into loaves or rolls, let rise and bake at 375º until golden brown. Brush with oil while still hot. To starter, about every 4 weeks, add 1/2 c. potato water to keep starter from getting too sour.
