Stuffing: Mehshi
1/4 Pound ground lamb
1 Small diced onion
3/4 Cup rice
1/2 Pat butter
"Little bit" of tomato sauce
Lemon juice to taste (anywhere from 1 -3 teaspoons)
Salt and pepper to taste
1 Jar grape leaves, drained and snip the bottom stem from each grape leaf
Browned lamb chops (from the shoulder/about 2-3, browned in olive oil)
2 Pats butter
2 Tablespoons of lemon juice

1. Combine all stuffing ingredients into bowl - mix thoroughly with hands.
2. Line up open grape leaves and place 1/2-3/4 teaspoon of stuffing per bottom center of leaf (size will depend on leave size.
3. Fold bottom portion of over stuffing. Then fold in left and right sides over stuffing. Roll upwards, keeping the roll tight. Repeat steps 1 and 2 until all grape leaves have been rolled.
4. Line pot with browned lamb chops.
5. Layer grape leaves in circular formation. Sprinkle dried mint in between each layer and on top layer.
6. Add two tablespoons of lemon juice and two pats of butter to top of grape leaves.
7. Put plate or foil on top of grape leaves.
8. Add water to top of highest layer.
9. Bring to boil and then simmer for 30 min.
