8-10 medium potatoes, peeled
1 - 8oz package cream cheese, softened
8 0z sour cream
1/2 c butter, melted
1/4 c chopped chives
1 clove garlic minced
2 tsp salt
paprika

Directions:
Directions:
Cook potatoes in boiling water about 30 minutes or until tender. Drain potatoes and mash with potato masher.
Beat cream cheese with electric mixer until smooth. add potatoes and remaining ingredients except paprika; beat until just combined. Spoon mixture into a lightly buttered 2-quart casserole dish; sprinkle with paprika. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Remove from refrigerator 15 min before baking. Uncover and bake at 350º for 30 minutes or until thoroughly heated.

I adjust the recipe (no exact amounts, but halve it). I also use parsley instead of chives and do not use the paprika.
You can soften the cream cheese in the microwave.
