3 T unsalted butter
2 1/2 T Colvita olive oil
4 cloves minced garlic
1lb large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
1 1/2 tsp kosher salt
1/4 tsp freshly ground pepper
1/3 c freshly chopped Italian parsley
freshly squeezed lemon juice from 2 lemons
1/8tsp hot red pepper flakes
lemon zest and slices

Directions:
In a heavy pan, melt the butter and olive oil over med-high heat. Add garlic and saute for 1 min. Add the shrimp. Sprinkle salt and black pepper over the shrimp. Cook for about 5 min, until the shrimp have just turned pink. Stir often.
Remove from heat. Add parsley and red pepper flakes. Toss (add lemon zest and slices if you want; I do).
Put freshly cooked & drained linguine back into the pot. add shrimp and lemon sauce. Toss well. Put into serving bowl/platter and eat. Yum!
