Directions:
Make a medium soft dough and knead well. Pat into a ball and let rest 1 hour. Divide dough into smaller portions about the size of a cup and flatten with your hand. Spread 2 tsp. veg oil on flattened dough. Stretch piece out to paper thin then roll up loosely like a cinnamon roll cut into 2" to 3" lengths.

In a roaster, saute' 1 large onion in 2 tbsp vegetable oil or bacon drippings. Saute' until onions are clear, then add 2 cups chicken broth. To this add 5 to 6 large potatoes peeled and cubed. Place ham on top of potatoes and bring to boil. Place strudels on top of ham; cover roaster and steam for 10 minutes. Then place in oven at 350º for about 30 minutes. DO NOT PEAK ONCE COVER IS ON ROASTER!

Heat gravy in microwave; pour over strudels before serving
