8 C. Water
3-1/2 C. Sugar
1 1oz. Bottle Peppermint Extract (not imitation)
1 Pt. Everclear Alcohol

Directions:
Directions:
In a dutch oven pan dissolve water and sugar on medium heat. DO NOT BOIL. Let cool, then add peppermint extract and Everclear. Mix and bottle. Makes approximately 2 fifths and about 3 pint bottles. If you like Creme de Menthe, just add some green food coloring and you have it.
