1 pound fresh asparagus, 1/4 cup soy sauce, 1/4 cup rice wine vinegar, 1 T toasted sesame oil, 1 T honey, 1/2 tsp peeled and grated fresh ginger, 1 clove garlic, minced, 1/4 tsp lemon pepper.

Snap tough ends off asparagus. Whisk all other ingredients together in a small bowl. Place the asparagus in a zip lock bag and add marinade. Work the bag gently with your fingers to distribute the marinade. Allow bag to sit at room temperature for 30 minutes. Meanwhile, prepare a charcoal fire or heat a gas grill to medium high and oil the grates. Grill the asparagus spears for two minutes per side.
