3 c flour
1 c whole wheat flour
1 t salt
1 t sugar
1 T butter
1 small potato, boiled
1 package yeast
2 -3 c warm water

Directions:
Directions:
Knead dough until it is no longer sticky. Keep in warm spot to rise for approximately one and half hours. Place on to buttered and floured cookie sheet. Make slash marks and stab dough a few times. Add little bit of water on top of bread dough. Bake at 400 degrees for an hour.

I was so lucky to make this bread with Grandma the one time she visited me at my house. She kept a little bit of the bread dough in a small container in the refrigerator as starter for the next loaf.
