Ingredients:
Ingredients:
4 tenderized beef cutlets
1/2 cup milk
all-purpose flour
vegetable oil
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. Tony Chachere's

Directions:
Directions:
Mix salt, pepper, and Tony's; season cutlets. Dip in milk and dredge in flour. (For thicker batter -- flour, milk, flour.) Heat oil, about 1/2 inch deep, in cast iron skillet. Place cutlets in hot oil; fry on both sides until golden brown, turning once. Drain on paper towel. Serve with cream gravy.

For gravy, pour off all but 2 to 3 tablespoons of the grease used to fry steak, keeping as much of the browned bits as possible. Heat oil on medium heat. Sprinkle with approximately 3 tablespoons of four, and salt & pepper. Mix together 1 cup milk and 1/2 cup water. Gradually stir that mixture into browned flour. Stir constantly until gravy reaches proper thickness. Lower heat and serve with steak.

Personal Notes:
Not the most heart healthy recipe but a nice treat occasionally. Mama Polly fried her steak this way and we love it.
