Cake:
4 C. apples, peeled
2 eggs
2 C. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 oil
1 C. walnuts, chopped
2 C. flour
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt

Sauce:
1 C. brown sugar
1/4 C. white sugar
1 tbsp. butter or margarine
1 C. cream
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Dice apples into a large bowl; break eggs over apples and stir. Add sugar, cinnamon, oil, and nuts. Sift together flour, soda, and salt; add to apple mixture and beat well. Pour into greased 13X9 pan; bake at 350º for 45 minutes. Cool. Serve with whipped cream and carmel Sauce.

Sauce:
Mix first 4 ingredients and bring to a boil for 1 minute. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes; add vanilla. Let cool
