12 slices bread - crust off - buttered
1/3 C. butter or margarine
1/2 pound fresh mushroom, sliced
2 cups thinly sliced white onion
salt
pepper
1 1/2 pound ground bulk sausage
1/2 pound grated cheddar cheese
5 eggs
2 1/2 C. milk
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/8 tsp. pepper
3 tsp. Dijon mustard
pinch nutmeg
pinch salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cook for 5 to 8 min. Butter, fresh mushroom and onion.

Cook until cooked through. sausage.

Layer: in a greased, shallow 12X15 inch pan. 1/2 bread (from above), mushroom mix, sausage mix, and grated cheese.

Repeat layers as above.

In a separate bowl, mix: eggs,milk, dry mustard, pepper, Dijon mustard, nutmeg, and salt

Pour egg mixture over all.

Cover and refrigerate over night.

Sprinkle with chopped parsley. Bake at 350º for 1 hour or until bubbly.
