1/4 C. butter or margarine
1/4 C. flour
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1/8 tsp. White pepper
2 C. milk
2 C. half and half
2 Chicken bouillon cubes
1/3 C. dry vermouth or dry white wine
2/3 C. shredded Parmesan cheese
8 oz vermicelli, cooked and drained
2 C. cooked chicken pieces
1 can (3 oz)sliced Broiled in Butter mushrooms
DO NOT DRAIN

Melt butter. Blend in flour, garlic salt and pepper. Add milk, half and half and bouillon cubes. Cook, stirring constantly, until thick and smooth. Add wine, 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese, vermicelli, chicken and mushrooms; stir carefully.

Pour into shallow 2-quart casserole. Sprinkle with remaining Parmesan cheese.

Bake at 375 until hot and bubbly, 20-25 minutes.
