7 ounces of dark chocolate
1 cup cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup confectioners' sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla or flavoring of your choice

Directions:
Directions:
Heat the chocolate in a double boiler until thoroughly melted.
In a separate bowl, combine the cream cheese and sugar and beat until smooth.
Stir in the vanilla and melted chocolate and mix until well combined.
Cover the bowl and place in the refrigerator until well-chilled and firm to the touch.
Shape the truffles into balls.
Refrigerate the finished truffles for at least 24 hours before packaging, serving or giving as a gift.
