1/2 pound small red kidney beans, soak overnight in water..
ham, cubed
1 large cooking onion
3 stalks celery
2 cloves garlic
1/2 green pepper
2 T chopped parsley
2 bay leaves

Directions:
Directions:
Soak beans over night. Next day cover with water and simmer 2 hours with lid off.
Add 1/8 lb. margarine, pepper, worster sauce and T tobasco. Cook for 1 hour. I prefer to use olive oil instead of margarine.
