2 cans whole green beans, drained
2 medium onions
1/2 peg. slivered almonds
10 strips bacon
6 T. vinegar
6 T. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Cook bacon; cool and save drippings.
Drain beans.
Add sugar and vinegar to drippings, stirring until
sugar is dissolved.
Slice onions in rings; separate.

Grease 9" x 13" casserole.
Layer: beans, bacon, almonds, onions.
Stir together vinegar and sugar; pour over
above ingredients.
Refrigerate overnight or several hours.
Bake @ 350º for 45 minutes.
