2 lbs. round steak (cut into pieces)
2/4 cup flour (or 2 T. cornstarch)
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

Dip steak pieces (4" pieces) into flour mixture. Brown in hot fat (crisco), Add enough cold water to make a thin gravy. Put meat and gravy in a covered pyrex dish and bake 350 degrees oven for 1 hour. Serve with mashed potatoes, biscuits, peas and a garden salad.
