2 cups self-rising flour
1/2 cup crisco
1/2 cup milk
2 T. butter melted

Directions:
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Lightly grease a baking sheet. Place flour in a medium bowl using a pastry blender (or fingers) cut in crisco until crumbly. Add milk, stirring just enough until dry ingredients are moistened. I use my hands on a floured surface, roll dough to 1/2 inch thickness. Using a small 1 1/2" (round) star cutter, cut biscuits and place 1/2 inch apart on baking sheet. Bake 12-14 minutes or until lightly browned. Brush with melted butter.
