2 cups sweet milk
2/3 cup sugar
2 eggs separated
2 T. self rising flour
3 large ripe bananas
1 t. vanilla
1 box vanilla wafers
2 1/2 - 3 T. sugar
pinch salt
1/2 stick butter

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, sugar and salt. Stir in milk, eggs and vanilla. Cook over low heat until it thickens to a sauce like consistency, In a Pyrex bowl, alternate layers of vanilla wafers and bananas, then pour pudding mixture over the wafers and bananas. Beat egg whites until stiff-add 2 1/2 - 3 T. sugar. Pour over hot pudding and brown in over (400 degrees).
