2 1/2 pounds Stew Meat
1 Medium Sweet Onion ( Sliced )
4-5 Ribs of Celery ( Sliced )
1/4 Cup Beef Broth
2 Bay Leaves
2 Tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
1/2 Pot of Water
3-4 medium Potatoes ( Cubed )
1 Turnip ( Cubed )
8 Carrots ( Peeled and Sliced )
1 Can Lima Beans
1/2 Teaspoon Basil
Salt
Pepper

Directions:
Directions:
In large skillet brown the stew meat, salt and pepper to taste.
Add the beef broth with the onion and celery and simmer for 3 minutes.
Fill a sauce pan suitable for soup 1/2 full of water.
Add the stew meat mixture to this pan, then add the bay leaves, and Worcestershire sauce.
Bring to gentle boil for about an hour.
Add the cubed potatoes, turnip and carrots. Cook for about 1/2 hour or until the vegetables are tender.
Add the lima beans and basil and cook an additional 15 minutes.
