Ingredients: 12 oz. chopped or mixed clams (2 cans) 6 oz tiny shrimp (1 can) 2 c diced potatoes ½ c diced carrots 4 c water 1 can evaporated milk 1 can cream of celery soup ¼ c dehydrated Cream of Potato Soup mix Optional: 1 can of crab meat ½ c imitation crab meat Parsley Onions or dried minced onions Garlic

Directions:On stove top, boil potatoes and carrots until almost tender; add more water as needed. Mix in dehydrated ingredients and cook on medium for 15 minutes. Add rest of ingredients. Thicken soup to desired consistency using flour or corn starch/cold water mix. (DO NOT ADD TO HOT SOUP) Heat soup until hot enough to serve. Do not boil. To make a rue for thickening soup: Melt ½ to 1 cube of butter in microwave in a glass container in 10 second intervals. Mix just enough flour to make it thick but still a little runny. Stir into soup using a whisk. Stir until thickened. |
