1 3-4 lb. beef tenderloin
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 1/2 T melted butter
1 cup dry sherry
3 T soy sauce
2 tsp dry mustard
1/8 tsp. salt and pepper

Place tenderloin in greased 9" x 13" pan.
Saute` onion in butter until tender.
Add sherry, soy sauce, mustard, salt & pepper
to onions; stir to blend.
Pour over tenderloin; brush to evenly distribute
over loin.

Bake uncovered @ 400º for 10 minutes.
Reduce heat to 325-350º desired doneness) until meat thermometer reaches 140-170º, depending on desired doneness. Approx.
10-20 minutes.
