4 cups chicken broth
1 cup STONE GROUND Grits (the Stone Ground is important, but you folks who don't live in the south might have a hard time finding stone ground grits--just make sure they aren't instant)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 1/2 stick butter, separated
1/2 c heavy cream
1/2 c chopped onions
1 T garlic
1 lb peeled shrimp
1 lb andouille sausage, sliced 1/4' think

Directions:
Directions:
Bring chicken broth, heavy cream and 1 stick of butter to a boil. Add stone ground grits and simmer for 15-20 minutes. Slowing add cheese until melted.

In a frying pan, saute onion, garlic, and 1/2 stick butter. Add shrimp and andouille sausage and cook until shrimp is done (3-5 minutes).

Put grits in bowl, ladle shrimp and sausage on top. Garnish with fresh tomatoes and green onion.
