1 1/2 cups sugar
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup water
2 tsp lemon juice
6 large marshmallows, chopped
2 egg whites at room temperature

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar, baking powder, water, and lemon juice in a heavy saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until clear. Cook, without stirring, until temperature reaches 240º. Add marshmallows, but do not stir. Beat egg whites at high speed of electric mixer until soft peaks form. Continue to beat eggs at high speed while slowly adding hot syrup. Continue beating until stiff peaks form and frosting is spreading consistency. Will frost an entire layer cake.
