1 lb Ground beef
1 lb Ground pork
1 onion
1 large can whole tomatoes
1 can whole corn
1 Tbs chili powder
1 Tbs sugar
1 tsp salt
1 cup cornmeal
4 eggs
1 Cup Milk
1 Can pitted black olives

Directions:
Directions:
Cook Beef & Pork with onion & drain
Add Tomatoes, Corn, chili powder and sugar, sink olives so that meat mixture fills them-set aside
Mix cornmeal, eggs, milk. Mix meat mixture with bread mixture. Pour into greased baking pan. Bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes or until set.

I have fond memories of spending the night with Mopey in her red house. What a sweet lady she was and treated me like a princess! Im so glad she was such a good friend to our Nammy. My mom, Mada Lackey wrote below this recipe :"My mother's lifelong friend served this pie to our family in about 1952. I was ten years old and I remember that day. The pie was so good!"
