4 cups diced apples
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 cup flour
3 t cinnamon
1 t baking soda

Topping: 1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup water
2 T flour
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 t vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Mix apples, sugar and eggs. Add dry ingredients. Put into a greased 9x13 pan and bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes. For topping: Put sugars, water and flour in sauce pan. Cook until thick and bubbly, approx 5 minutes. Remove from heat; add butter and vanilla, blend. While cake is warm, poke holes in it with a fork and our topping over cake.
