4 Cups Flour ( Sifted )
1/2 Cup Milk
2 Eggs ( Large )
1 1/2 Cups Granulated Sugar
2 Teaspoons Baking Soda
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1/2 Teaspoon Almond Extract

Directions:
Directions:
Cut shortening ino flour using a pastry blender, until the mixture is a consistency of corn meal and small peas.Combine the rest of the ingredients and mix with the flour-shortening mixture.
Roll Dough to 1/8 inch thickness. Cut into various shapes with cookie cutters.
Bake on cookie sheet, at 350 for 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned on edges
Cookies may be frosted or decorated as desired.
