1 large box jello, any flavor
1 tub of Cool Whip OR
1 cup heavy whipping cream, sweetened, and whipped
Angel Food Cake box mix
1 can fruit cocktail, or favorite fruit, cut up

Directions:
Directions:
Make jello according to directions; adding fruit too. Store in refrigerator until set.
Meanwhile, make angel food cake according to box directions. Cool. Remove cake from pan. Tear cake into bite size pieces.
Using a 9" x 13" cake pan, line pan with the cake pieces, fitting them tightly together to fit inside pan.
Take jello and spoon it on top of angel food cake pieces. Spread jello evenly over cake.
Whip heavy cream (sweeten with powdered sugar or vanilla) until thick. or use Cool Whip!
Layer whipped cream over jello cake. Refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving.

You can make jello ahead the night before. This cake was one of my favorite "no frosting" birthday cake requests to Mom. The fruit cocktail in jello was her idea (when fresh fruit was too expensive). Sooo easy and refreshing during summer months!
